I got it for my ten year old she loves it. The patterns they email you are pretty cool. It helps them make things like a 3D flower and many more options. I believe there was a dinosaur pattern also. Or you can use it free hand.
I have used both filaments and they both work great. You can adjust the heat to work optimally with both. I haven’t seen a difference.
I have a printer and it prints pla best, so I use pla when I’m adding to those prints, but abs works fine for standalone projects.
